This is a nice, clean and climate controlled storage space! They have a lot of carts for you to move stuff in and out. They have a ramp on one side of the building. They have an elevated drop off area if you have a truck. I’m happy with my new storage unit; however one drawback is their hours. Although they are open every day - the weekend hours are very limited. For example: Weekday hours are: Monday 8 AM to 7 PM Tuesday 8 AM to 7 PM Wednesday 8 AM to 7 PM Thursday 8AM to 7 PM Friday 8 AM to 6 PM And weekend: *Saturday 8 AM to 6 PM *Sunday 11AM to 4PM What if a person is working those very same hours? They’d need to take time off work to get there before it closes. Or wait until Saturday, if not working, or a Sunday, then rush around to make sure they’d there before 4 pm. Suggestion: There should be a way for people to get in with an access code or key fob at anytime. Or at least up until midnight. Most other storage unit companies in NYC, Bronx, Westchester county, Putnam county, New Jersey, etc. have a way to access the premises after business hours. The customer service I received was good. They sell locks on the premises which is good.The price is very reasonable as well.

I actually haven't been to my unit in years, but feel sure that my belonging are safe safe and sound.

I've been with Safe Haven Elmsford for at least 25 yrs! The monthly rent has stayed at a price that is affordable! Unlike other storage companies that I'm familiar with, I believe Safe Haven has only raised my rent about 2 or 3 times! Others have rent increase yearly!! So far the environment is well kept and I've had no problems with my storage space. I would recommend Safe Haven for your storage needs.
